The resort has maintained its compliance with the guidelines set forth by the national government through the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF), the Department of Tourism (DOT), and the local government of Parañaque City.
The 3T campaign puts new measures in place in the resort complex, implementing best practices and innovative approaches based on new regulations by the government. Strengthened safety measures are now maintained throughout the property, starting with the practice of physical distancing and the use of face masks in public areas. Okada Manila has also enhanced its sanitation and emergency protocols with the addition of advanced cleaning technology like disinfection chambers, ultraviolet scanners, and high-end cleaning robots.
The resort has remained fully compliant with government standards throughout the community quarantine, even exceeding the minimum health and safety measures by setting industry- leading protocols across its premises. The 3T campaign meets the initiatives of the government and enables Okada Manila to configure its own strategy to prioritize the health and safety of its guests and team members. Okada Manila has temporarily suspended its operations since the announcement of community quarantine in March. Ultraluxury resorts like Okada Manila are not allowed to operate (with limited exceptions) during ECQ, MECQ, and GCQ under the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) industry qualifications. However, operations may resume once community quarantine measures are eased to MGCQ, allowing a 50% operating capacity to Category IV industries.
